Service Life in Miles

Contrary to popular belief Mobil 1 currently DOES NOT recommend any extended oil drain periods for any vehicle engine during OEM Warranty period.

Oil change intervals can be as short as 3,000 miles or as long as 15,000 miles on some new cars.

Mobil 1 recommend that you follow the oil and filter change frequencies shown in your owner's manual.

For vehicles no longer under any OEM Warranty (usually older than 7 years or over 70,000 miles) following are the advertised limitations:

SynLube™ Lube−4−Life®

Allows Extended Oil Drain Intervals ...

... or NO Drain !

What is it ?

SynLube™ Lube−4−Life® are 100% man-made Syn-Sols and NO petroleum is used in the production.
Five different Synthetic Fluids provide for superior performance and three different colloidal solids in sub-micronic size provide the actual lubrication and surface separation.

Since this mixture is chemically inert the oil can be used for up to 50 times longer then conventional lubricant.

That usually means NO oil changes over the useful life of most vehicles.

In NORMAL operation in most vehicles you can safely drive for up to:

WITHOUT OIL CHANGE !!!

That means convenience and savings.
