SynLube, Inc. is based in Las Vegas, Nevada and we have hundreds of customers that run their vehicles without Oil Changes in Las Vegas area since 1989!
Mobil 1 boasts the "Mobil 1 Extended Performance" oil based on test in few Taxis in Las Vegas, yet at the same time on their web and on back of the bottle actually recommend NOT to exceed OEM oil change intervals on vehicles during their warranty period - period ! ExxonMobil is not willing to back up with any warranty their "test" claims at all.
Mobil 1 comes in 15 different formulations of various SAE viscosity rating and only 3 of them are labeled as Extended Performance, of which only the SAE 5W-30 version is actually "acceptable" as currently no OEM recommends the use of either SAE 10W-30 or SAE 15W-50 oils in their engines.
So while the front Label of Mobil 1 makes "Extended Performance" claim, the back label (read it !) advises you against it in any vehicle with oil life system or if it is under OEM warranty!
We at SynLube, Inc. do not utilize such deceptive advertising and do not make bogus claims on our products.
